BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

Program Director - Member Support: Full-time Non-Exempt - Identify, support and serve Club members 5 -18 years old with their social-emotional learning, life skill development, and coping skills in area such as trauma, stress, anxiety, or behavior management through individual and group services that promotes literacy growth and thinking skills and supports social and emotional development. Individuals must have: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services or related disciplines
  • Specialty certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis or completion of related Behavior Management course preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club, or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young children, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with program development geared to ages 5-18, especially related to educational enhancement programs
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and pertinent software applications
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with individual, corporate and foundation donors
  • Data Analysis, record keeping and reporting

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS PART TIME EMPLOYMENT                    

YDL3/Impact Coach: Part-time Non-Exempt - Responsible for the implementation of a broad range of programs, and the care of youth/Teens between the ages of 5-18. Prepare youth for success by creating a Club environment that facilitates achievement and growth. Responsible for implementing and evaluating programs and activities that engage members while meeting grant outcomes. Must be available between the hours of 3:00PM-7:00PM Monday thru Friday. *Must be at least 21 years of age to apply. A full description can be found here: Impact Coach

School Year Morning Youth Development Leader: Part-time Non-Exempt - Responsible for implementation of a broad range of programs for youth between the ages of 5-12 and that prepares youth for success and creates a Club environment that facilitates achievement of 1) Positive Self Identity 2) Health & Well-being 3) Positive Values 4) Commitment to Learning 5) Social Competency & 6) Community & Civic Involvement. School Year Afternoon Youth Development Leader: Part-time Non-Exempt - Responsible for implementation of a broad range of programs for youth between the ages of 5-12 and that prepares youth for success and creates a Club environment that facilitates achievement of 1) Positive Self Identity 2) Health & Well-being 3) Positive Values 4) Commitment to Learning 5) Social Competency & 6) Community & Civic Involvement. Site Coordinator 2: Part-time Non-Exempt - Act as the key contact person for parents, staff, teachers, principal, etc at the assigned BGCT site.  Manage initial response in crisis situations and contact Area Director as needed.  Provide regular clerical and administrative support to the Area Director. Prepares correspondence and reports, maintains schedule and calendar, answers telephones and maintains electronic and hard copy files. Coordinates, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific site, such as Power Hour, Project Learn, Torch Club, Smart Moves, and Triple Play. A full job description can be found here: Site Coordinator
 
YDL3/Literacy Innovator: Part-time Non-Exempt - Supports the Literacy Director with the introduction and implementation of reading enrichment programs designed specifically for use in out-of-school environments. YDL3/Member Support Specialist: Part-time Non-Exempt - Responsible for the implementation of a broad range of programs, and the care of youth/Teens between the ages of 5-18. Prepare youth for success by creating a Club environment that facilitates achievement and growth. Responsible for implementing and evaluating programs and activities that engage members while meeting grant outcomes. Individuals must have: 
  • Minimum of 2 years college in teaching, education or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization supporting the needs of vulnerable youth (preferred)
  • Able to remain calm in challenging or high stress situations: support youth & teens with coping skills in the areas such as trauma, stress, anxiety, or behavior management through individual and group services
  • Have a passion for literacy: modify and adapt KidzLit literacy program to encourage active and successful outcomes for youth that are currently unable to achieve program & personal success
  • Must be ambitious, creative and inspiring: develop independent reading program for teens through the development of a KidzLit Literacy Mentor initiative that bridges teen members and Club members K-5th grade
