BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

West Area Director: Full-time Exempt - Manages overall daily operations of the BGCT Montara unit & four USD 437 primary schools’ before/afterschool and summer programs. Primary focus will be on management of program staff and volunteers. Additional duties include: building and maintaining collaborative relationships with USD 437 personnel, Club families and membership administration. Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator: Full-time Exempt - Responsible for volunteer recruitment, orientation, development, motivation, retention and recognition.  The Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting special events, such as the Harley Party and Great Futures Gala, and other special projects. A full job description can be found here: Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator

Site Coordinator: Full-time Non-Exempt - Act as the key contact person for parents, staff, teachers, principal, etc at the assigned BGCT site.  Manage initial response in crisis situations and contact Area Director as needed.  Provide regular clerical and administrative support to the Area Director. Prepares correspondence and reports, maintains schedule and calendar, answers telephones and maintains electronic and hard copy files. Coordinates, supervises and evaluates activities provided within a specific site, such as Power Hour, Project Learn, Torch Club, Smart Moves, and Triple Play. A full job description can be found here: Site Coordintor

Program Director: Full-time Non-Exempt - Oversees, facilitates and trains a broad range of programs and leadership initiatives developed and endorsed by The Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) at Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka (BGCT). Inspires and provides guidance to the Program Leadership Team to implement and facilitate a broad array of impactful programs in the areas or Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character & Citizenship. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS PART TIME EMPLOYMENT                    

Manager of First Impressions: Part-time Non-Exempt -  This is a vital position that provides the first impression of who and what Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka is. The Manager of First Impressions works with the program team to provide an initial/immediate point of contact for parents, Club members, community partners, donors, the public and others making contact on the phone or in person as well as serving as a central resource point for Club members during Club hours. A full description can be found here:  Manager of First Impressions

District Tutor: Part-time Non-Exempt - Assist Club members individually or in small groups to help them improve their academic skills. District tutors may also help Club members develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance. This may be done in a group setting during Power Hour, or other various program hours. Tutors must often keep reports on club member and may share those reports with supervisors, teachers and parents. In addition to the academic component, tutors are responsible for supervising groups of Club members, providing discipline and serving as a role model. A full description can be found here:  District Tutor

Impact Coach: Part-time Non-Exempt - Responsible for implementation of a broad range of programs for youth between the ages of 13-18 years old and that prepares youth for success and creates a club environment that facilitates achievement of 1) Positive Self Identity 2) Health & Well-being 3) Positive Values 4) Commitment to Learning 5) Social Competency & 6) Community & Civic Involvement. A full job description can be found here: Impact Coach
